Star Wars was right! This isn't that far away from the 3D holoprojections of the Death Star is it!

A number of conspiricy sites are talking about the use of superior 3d hologram technology to display 3D images of Jesus and angels in the sky during the London Olympics.

This is to make the faithfull think we have the return of christ.

Though if you take paranoia to its limit, maybe it will really be the return of christ, and they only want us to think its 3D holograms, he he

Fifty years is a long time.  A hell of a long time in terms of changes in the world.  In fifty years, maybe the cockroaches who are the only creatures left on the planet might be setting up committees to look into developing the wheel.

True, but for the majority of us, it's a milestone we'll actually bear witness to. Asking about 100 years hence would be pointless as we'll all be dead

unless they discover how to make us disembodied heads in a jar, a la Futurama

They wouldn't need to, all our kids toy cars and things will fit them, so they can just use those...they'll just need to either push themselves along with a big stick, or go straight into developing the motor!
